Do not tilt the cab when occupied. Before tilting the cab remove all loose articles from the cab, secure all windows and emergency exits, and then close the cab and cab riser doors. Failure to do so can result in personal injury or damage to the machine.

The bolt pattern that is shown is for a 48 inch riser. An 18 inch riser is also available.

The switch for the cab tilt control (3) is located inside the left rear access door.
Lower
Remove the cab retention bolts and washers (1) from the rear of the cab riser compartment and install the cab retention bolts and washers in the weld nuts (2).

Push the switch for the cab tilt control (A). Note: When the switch for the cab tilt control is held down, the cab will move to the LOWER position.
After making sure that the cab is in the desired position or the cable is tight, release the switch.

Push the switch for the cab tilt control (B). Note: When the switch for the cab tilt control is held down, the cab will move to the RAISE position.
After making sure that the cab has moved to the highest position, release the switch.
Remove cab retention bolts and washers (1) from weld nuts (2).
Install cab retention bolts (1) to a torque of 1500 200 N m (1100 150 lb ft).
