Screed removed for clarity.1. Remove fourteen bolts (1), two guards (2) and plate (3). 2. Remove nut (4). 3. Loosen four bolts (5). 4. Remove two cotter pins (6), side plate (7) and master link (8). 5. Remove pipe (9). 6. Support shaft (10) and remove two bolts (11). 7. Lower shaft (10) and disconnect hose (12). 8. Remove two bolts (13) and remove quarter auger (14) and half auger (15).9. Loosen two set-screws (16) and pry back bearing group cover (17). 10. Use lifting straps and a hoist to remove the auger. The weight of the auger is 250 kg (550 lb). Remove four bolts (18), chain (19) and auger (screw conveyor). For installation, reverse removal steps.Disassemble & Assemble Auger (Screw Conveyor)
1. Remove four bolts (1) and remove one quarter auger (2), and four half augers (3).2. Remove retaining ring (4), washer (5) and loosen two set-screws (6).3. Remove sprocket (7) and key (8).4. Remove bearing group (9), bearing group cover (10) and plate (11). 5. Remove bolt (12) and pipe (13).6. Loosen three set-screws (14) and remove collar (15).7. Loosen three set-screws (16) and slide back collar (17).8. Loosen two set-screws (18) and remove bearing (19). Bearing (19) is press-fit onto shaft (20).9. Remove collar (17). For assembly, reverse disassembly steps.
