This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI32214" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32214" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
The 327-5258 Torque Converter Housing needs to be replaced on certain CX28 Transmissions in U.S. Military Tactical Vehicles. The existing 327-5258 Torque Converter Housing may have porosity located on the flange where the torque converter housing attaches to the engine.

ACTION REQUIRED
Before any work is performed, please refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual - CX28 On-Highway Military Transmission (Media Number SEBU8527) for all proper safety practices including, but not limited to:
1) Parking the machine on a flat level surface away from people and other equipment. 2) Chocking the wheels to prevent inadvertent shifting of the machine.
3) Performing proper lockout and tagout procedures for the machine.
4) Disconnecting the battery cables and applying electrical tape to the exposed ends.
Remove the current CX28 Transmission and send back to the factory for rework.
