STEERING CLUTCH CONTROL VALVE GROUP 1P0968 - Caterpillar

1. Remove dampers (1).2. Disconnect tachometer drive cable (2) at the tachometer drive.3. Remove link (3).4. Remove ether starting aid tube (5).5. Use tool (A) to loosen fuel injection line nuts (4) and (6).6. Remove the fuel injection lines.7. Install tooling (B) over the valve cover base adapters and in the fuel injection lines. The following steps are for installation of the fuel injection lines.8. Remove tooling (B), and install the fuel injection lines. Use tool (A) to tighten the fuel injection line nuts to a torque of 41 7 N m (30 5 lb.ft.).9. Install dampers (1). Tighten the bolts for all dampers and clamps to a torque of 9.5 2.8 N m (84 24 lb.in.).
