Illustration 24 g00651362
Typical ExampleNote: Do not damage exposed stator windings or field windings. Bumping the windings or scraping the windings may break the insulation. Broken insulation may create a short circuit or a ground.
Remove 4 bolts (21). Carefully separate housing (22) from housing (20) .
Illustration 25 g00651365
Typical Example
Pull apart stator (23) and housing (20). Guide the stator leads through the hole as the stator is removed from housing (20) .
Illustration 26 g00651235
Remove 4 screws (25). Remove the coil and support (24) from housing (20). Guide the field leads through the hole as the coil is removed from the housing. Pry cap (26) from housing (20). This will expose the bearing for the rotor.Note: Do not strike the bearing. Shocks from striking the housing can cause damage.
Wipe the excess grease from the bearing well. Press the bearing into the housing. Remove the inner race.
