S/N:DER1-223    Procedure For The Replacement Of The Drain Hose And The Drain Pipe
If the drain hose and the drain pipe require replacement, use the following procedure.

147-7062 Muffler Drain Lines Gp (1) 5D-1026 Hose Clamp (2) 7Y-1229 Connector (3) 239-6637 Tube As (4) 8T-4136 Bolt (5) 8T-2561 Hard Washer (6) 5P-0743 Hose (7) 7K-1181 Cable Strap (A) Center Line Of The Crankshaft
Remove cable strap (7). Loosen hose clamp (1). Remove hose (6). Discard the hose. Retain the hose clamp for reassembly.
Loosen bolts (4) and hard washers (5). Remove tube assembly (3). Discard the tube assembly. Retain the bolts and washers for reassembly.
Assemble new tube assembly (3) to connector (2). Reassemble bolts (4) and hard washers (5) that were retained in Step 2. Make sure that the bolts and washers are reassembled in the same location. Torque the bolts to 55 10 N m (40 7 lb ft).
Assemble the new hose (6) to the new tube assembly. Reuse hose clamp (1) that was retained in Step 1. Torque the hose clamp to 4.5 0.5 N m (3.3 0.4 lb ft).
Use a new cable strap (7) and secure the new hose (6). Refer to Illustration 1.
