Clean all pins, pin bores and pin bosses. Apply a coating of 5P-0960 Grease on the clean pins, pin bosses and in the pin bores prior to installing the pins.(A-A) The lips of the four seals (3) face out (away from the pin bore bearings) in arm assembly (1). Use washers (4) and (5) on the inside of each side of arm assembly (1) to center the arm assembly in the loader frame. Use a maximum of one washer (4) on each side. Use washers (5) as required to obtain clearance (6) of less than 2.00 mm (.079 in)After centering arm assembly (1) in loader frame, use washers (5) on the outboard side of each arm assembly as required to obtain clearance (7) of less than 2.00 mm (.079 in.). If clearance (7) is between 2.00 and 3.00 mm (.079 to .118 in.), use one washer (4).The same thickness washers must be used on the inboard side of each arm to keep arm assembly (1) centered in the bucket assembly. Use a maximum of one washer (4) per side. If additional washers are required, us washers (5) as required.(B-B) The lips of the four seals (8) face out (away from the pin bearings) in the link assembly. Install four washers (9) in the location shown. Secure the pin assemblies using two washers (10) and two retaining rings (11).(C-C) Install four washers (5) in the location shown.(D-D) The lips of the four seals (3) face out (away from the pin bearings) in arm assembly (1).(E-E) The lips of the four seals (3) face out (away from the pin bearings) in the arm assembly (1). Secure the pin assemblies using two washers (5) and two retaining rings (12).(F-F) The lips of the four seals (8) face out (away from the pin bearings) in link assembly. Install four washers (9) in the location shown.(G-G) The lips of the four seals (3) face out (away from the pin bearings) in arm assembly (1). Use the same amount of washers (5) on the inside of each side of arm assembly (1) as necessary to center in the bracket assembly of the bucket.
