Remove the auxiliary water pump. Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove nuts (2), the lockwashers, body (1), and the gasket from housing (3).

Remove nut (6), washer (5), and gear (4) from the shaft assembly.

Remove key (7) and spacer (8) from the shaft.
Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (9).

Remove locknut (10) that holds impeller (11) in place. Note: The locknut has left hand thread.
Remove impeller (11). Note: Impeller (11) has left hand thread.

Remove shim (12) and seal assembly (13).

Use a suitable press to remove shaft assembly (14) and the bearings as a unit from body (1).

Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (18) from the shaft assembly.
Use Tooling (C) and a suitable press to remove bearing (15), spacer (16), and bearing (17) from the shaft assembly.

Remove lip seal (20) and slinger (19) from body (1).
