Installation Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Install water pump (13 ) and the cover. Install two bolts (11). Install two bolts (12) .

Position the hose and tighten two hose clamps (10) .

Position the hose and tighten two hose clamps (8). Install electrical connector (6). Install the bolt and the clip.
Install tube assembly (5). Install the gasket and install tube assembly (4). Tighten two hose clamps (7) .
Install tube assembly (2). Tighten hose clamp (1) .
Position tube assembly (3) and tighten the two fittings.
Replace the coolant. Refer to Operations and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the correct refill capacity.End By:
Install the fan guards. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guards - Remove and Install".
Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
