Before the parking brake will release, the governor control lever must be above LOW-IDLE position.Speed and direction of the machine are controlled by this lever. To avoid quick stops, move the lever slowly when changing directions. Transmission Control Lever Park - To ENGAGE the parking brake, push the lever all the way FORWARD. The machine should not move.Release the parking brake, by moving the lever out of park. Forward (1.) - To move the machine slowly forward, pull the lever out of park, toward the operator (nearest slot). The farther the lever is pulled back, the faster the machine will move. Reverse (2.) - To move the machine slowly backward, pull the lever out of park, into the farthest slot. The farther the lever is pulled back, the faster the machine will move.Brake Release Pump - Brake Engage Valve

Push in and rotate the knob and lock the pump when brakes are released. Brake Engage Valve (2.) - Push the knob in to re-engage parking brakes. This releases the pressure applied by the BRAKE RELEASE PUMP. For brake pump operation instructions, see topic "Towing", under the section "Abnormal Conditions."Bucket Lift Control Lever
This is a pilot operated hydraulic control system. Bucket Float (1.) - The bucket will be in FLOAT when the lever is pushed all the way FORWARD into detent. In this position the bucket will lower to the ground and move up and down, following ground contour.Lever will remain in the float position (detent) until pulled out of detent. Lever will then return to HOLD position.
DO NOT move the lever to FLOAT position when the bucket is raised, or the bucket will drop too fast.
Bucket Lower (2.) - To lower the bucket, push the lever FORWARD from HOLD position. When the lever is released, it will return to HOLD position. Bucket Hold (3.) - RELEASE the lever from either RAISE or LOWER position, and the lever will return to HOLD position. Bucket Raise (4.) - To RAISE the bucket, pull the lever back toward the operator. Release the lever to stop lifting bucket. Lever will return to the HOLD position. The lever is detented at the full raise position. This is a FAST RAISE bucket detent position. It will stay in detent until bucket reaches a predetermined height set by the lift kickout linkage. To adjust, see "Lift Kickout Adjustment" in the "Operating Adjustments" section.Bucket Tilt Lever
