General Remarks
All tools used during maintenance and repair work, and the circuit itself (pipes, connections, component parts) must be kept absolutely clean. Any foreign body entering the hydraulic circuit could cause the rapid deterioration of vital parts of a component.* Periodically check that there is no leakage and that fixation bolts are tighly fastened.* Before each major travel, check efficiency of brakes on braked versions.* Before prolonged inactivity (e.g. in seasonal work) bleed and fill of oil the wheel-motors housing (a layer of air may have formed during working).Bleeding
* Same operations as for filling housing.* Bring one of the two bleeding studs to top position, loosen valve a few turns and tighten again when oil flows freely without air. (Tightening torque: 0.8 m.daN - 70 in. lbs).Prolonged Storage
The internal parts of the wheel-motor must be protected according to the length of storage and climatic conditions. These operations must be carried out before the wheel-motor is stored and before the machine is stopped. A - No special precaution necessary, simply check that plugs or caps are properly fitted.B - Fill up with hydraulic fluid (see page 3).C - Rinse out with storage fluid or with anti-rust.D - Fill up with storage fluid or with anti-rust.
