Start By:
Remove the final drive carriers, the hubs, and the brakes. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive Carriers, Hubs, and Brakes - Disassemble".

Loosen, but do not remove locknut (1).

Use Tooling (A) to disconnect tie rod (2). Remove locknut (1).

Remove bearing pin (3).

Remove O-ring seal (5) and cap (4) from bearing pin (3).

Remove bearing cone (6) and O-ring seal (7).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to axle housing (8). The weight of axle housing (8) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).
Remove bolts (9). Remove bearing pin assembly (10). Remove axle housing (8).

Remove bearing cone (14), bearing cap (13), O-ring seal (12), and shim (11) from bearing pin (10).

Remove axle shaft assembly (15).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (16).

Use a suitable press in order to remove spider assembly (17).
