Remove the flywheel.
Remove the crankshaft rear seal.
Remove the electric starting motor.
Remove the turbocharger.
Remove the auxiliary water pump.

Remove clip assemblies (3) and (4).
Disconnect tube assemblies (1) and (9). Position the hoses and tube assemblies (2) and (5) away from flywheel housing (10).
Remove bolts (6) and (7) the brackets.
Remove two bolts (11) and install Tooling (B).
Remove remaining bolts (11), (12), and (8). Slide flywheel housing (10) forward on Tooling (B).
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (10). The weight of flywheel housing (10) is approximately 98 kg (216 lb).
Remove flywheel housing (10) and the gasket from the rear flywheel housing. Installation Procedure

Install Tooling (B) in the cylinder block.
Apply Tooling (C) to the joint where the flywheel housing gasket meets the oil pan gasket.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (10). The weight of flywheel housing (10) is approximately 98 kg (216 lb).
Position the gasket and flywheel housing (10) on Tooling (B). Slide forward and remove Tooling (A). Position flywheel housing (10) on the rear flywheel housing. Install bolts (11), (12), and (8). Tighten bolts (12) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft)
Remove Tooling (B) and install remaining bolts (11).
Reposition the hoses and tube assemblies (2) and (5). Install tube assemblies (9) and (1).
Install clip assemblies (4) and (3).

Tighten the bolts, as follows:
In a numerical sequence, tighten Bolt 1 through Bolt 2 to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
In a numerical sequence, tighten Bolt 3 through Bolt 10 to a torque of 135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft).
In a numerical sequence, tighten Bolt 11 through Bolt 34 to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
Install bolts (6) and (7) to the brackets. End By:
Install the crankshaft rear seal.
Install the flywheel.
Install the turbocharger.
Install the electric starting motor.
Install the auxiliary water pump.
