Left Hand Service
New Components Require
Chart B and Illustration 2 identify the new components required to install the fuel priming pump on engines equipped with a left hand service fuel filter.
Installation Procedure
1. Remove the tube that connects the fuel transfer pump outlet to the fuel filter base inlet. Remove the fitting from the fuel filter base inlet.2. See Illustration 1. Remove pump assembly (3) from valve assembly (1). Use care not to loose ball (4) and spring (5).3. Install valve assembly (1) in the fuel filter base inlet. Assemble fuel priming pump group (9). Be sure ball (4) and spring (5) are in place before installing pump assembly (3) on valve assembly (1). Fuel priming pump group (9) should be oriented as shown in Illustration 2.4. Put new seals (7) in position on the fuel transfer pump outlet fitting and the new fuel priming pump group inlet.5. Install new tube assembly (8) between the fuel transfer pump outlet and the new fuel priming pump group inlet.6. See "Priming Procedure".

New Components Required
The 118-7266 Fuel Priming Pump Kit provides the components required to install a right hand service fuel priming pump if the engine was built with the 9Y-7694 Fuel Filter Group. Chart C and Illustrations 3 and 4 identify the components of the 118-7266 Fuel Priming Pump Kit. If the engine was built with the 110-4391 Fuel Filter Group, the only change required is to remove elbow (Z) and install the 110-4394 Fuel Priming Pump in its place.

Illustrations 5 and 6 and Chart D identify the components to be removed from the 9Y-7694 Fuel Filter Group in order to install the 118-7266 Fuel Priming Pump Kit.
1. Remove the components identified in Chart D and Illustrations 5 and 6.2. Install new filter base assembly (20) as shown in Illustration 4.3. See Illustration 1. Remove pump assembly (3) [part of pump group (23)] from valve assembly (1). Use care not to loose ball (4) and spring (5).4. Install valve assembly (1) in the fuel filter base inlet port. Assemble pump group (23). Be sure ball (4) and spring (5) are in place before installing pump assembly (3) on valve
