AS300 Angle Sensor Mounted in Bracket Housing with Cable AttachedThe HEX machines use three or four single axis angle sensors depending on the configuration. The angle sensors are located on the boom, the stick, the bucket linkage, and if equipped, the tilt bucket. The AccuGrade system uses the angle sensors in order to calculate the position of the cutting edge of the bucket.Front Linkage Sensors (Position Sensing Cylinder and Rotary Sensors)
The AccuGrade System uses two Rotary Position Sensors that are located on the boom and the stick in order to measure the relative rotation angle between the two linkages.

Rotary Position SensorThe Position Sensing Cylinder (PSC) measures the rod extension/retraction of the hydraulic cylinder for the bucket. The PSC uses a sensor that is integrated into the cylinder in order to make this measurement.
