Turn Signal inputs connections to the MonitorThe turn signal switch to battery inputs come from the signal lever switch on the steering column. When the lever is moved to a turn signal position, system voltage from the flasher relay is directed to the appropriate turn signal lamps and to the Monitor input. The Monitor will illuminate the turn signal indicator and sound a beeper in order to indicate that the turn signal is activated. The turn signal indicators will also illuminate when the Monitor is OFF and the ignition switch is in the ON position.

Brake Oil Accumulator Pressure Switch input connection to the MonitorThe brake oil accumulator pressure switch provides a switch to ground input to the Monitor. During normal operation, the oil pressure in the service brake accumulator holds the contact of the pressure switch closed. The Monitor detects the ground signal through the closed switch contacts. When the pressure in the brake system accumulator drops below 100 bar (1450.0 psi), the pressure switch contacts will open. When the engine is running and the Monitor detects the loss of the ground signal, the Monitor will activate the Low Brake Pressure indicator and the internal action alarm in order to alert the operator that the service brake pressure is low. When the engine is NOT running and the Monitor detects the loss of the ground signal, the Monitor will only activate the Low Brake Pressure indicator. in order to alert the operator that the service brake pressure is low. The Monitor will turn OFF the Low Brake Pressure indicator when the pressure increases enough to close the pressure switch contacts.
