Remove support assembly (7). Disconnect hose assembly (8). Disconnect hoses (9) and (10). Remove hose (11) .

Remove clip assemblies (18). Disconnect ground strap (19) from the starter. Remove cable strap (20).

Fasten Tooling (A) to torque converter (33), as shown. Tooling (A) will be used to support torque converter (33), the transmission, and the output transfer gears when the engine is being removed. The weight of torque converter (24), the transmission, and the output transfer gears is approximately 816 kg (1,800 lb).
Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to engine (33). The weight of engine (33) is approximately 862 kg (1,900 lb).
Remove bolts (34) from the bell housing.
Remove engine mounting bolts (31) and remove engine (32) .Installation Procedure
Install engine (32) in the reverse order of removal.
Install bolts (31) and tighten bolts (31) to a torque of 520 70 N m (383 52 lb ft).
Install bolts (34) and tighten bolts (34) to a torque of 70 15 N m (52 11 lb ft).
