Dimension (A) 139.0 mm(5.50 in). (B) 6.0 mm(.24 in).Procedure To Install New Bearing And Boom Assembly
1. Support the boom as required to remove the stick-to-boom pin from the right side. See the Reference.2. Install new pin (5) std. or (6) m.e. from left. Position flange on pin toward rear of machine.3. Assemble two bolts (1) and washers (2) through bar (4) into block (3). Hand tighten the bolts.4. Install the above mentioned assembly over the flange on pin (5) or (6). Position the assembly against the boom as shown in the Illustration, dimension (A) from the centerline of the hole and equally spaced from the top and bottom of the boom nose casting.5. Use an AWS E7018 Electrode or an equivalent. Tack weld block (3) to the boom. Remove bar (4), rotate the pin 180 degrees and protect the pin surface. Finish weld as shown.6. Assemble pin assembly and remove lifting device.
