Pipe Thread Lubrication System
In conditions below −5° C (23° F), the grease in the pipe thread lubrication system may become difficult to pump through the system lines. When this occurs, apply lubricant to the threads manually.The pipe thread lubrication system applies lubricating grease to the drill steel pipe threads when drill steel is added or removed. The pipe thread lubrication system is controlled by the right joystick located in the cab. See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls" for additional information.Location of Grease Points
The lubrication system will lubricate the pipe threads when the right joystick in the cab is operated.Machine Auto Lube System
The lubrication system will automatically lubricate all of the points that are connected to the system.The Machine lubrication system is on a timed cycle and consist of the following items:
Grease pump with integrated control unit
Distribution blocks with metering units
Indicator fault display integrated in the system monitoring systemLocation of Grease Points
The lubrication system will automatically lubricate most of the lubrication points on the machine. Lubrication points that are not lubricated by the machine autolube system will require a manual lubrication interval. The lubrication system will automatically lubricate the work tool. The Work Tool lubrication system is on a timed cycle:
Oil pump with integrated control unit
Distribution blocks with metering units

When the machine is equipped with the Autolube system, additional parameters are available within the monitoring system.Typical parameters include the following:Autolube - Displays if the system is operating.Operation Mode - Displays if the system is operating in AUTO or MANUAL mode.Pump Status - Displays if the Autolube pump is ACTIVE or DISABLED.Reservoir Level - Displays if the grease level in the reservoir is LOW or NOT LOW.Additional Configurations
When equipped with the Autolube system, “Additional Configurations” may be available within the monitoring system.Autolube - The amount of time between lubrication cycles is adjustable within the monitoring system.
