PROBLEM
The existing pressure sensor can fail on certain C175-16 Locomotive Engines. If the existing sensor fails it can/will cause sensor faults that could result in unplanned downtime.

ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the following pressure sensors:
Qty 1 Crankcase Pressure Sensor
Qty 1 Barometric Pressure Sensor
Qty 4 Turbocharger Inlet Pressure Sensors
Perform the following procedure to update the orientation of the Turbocharger Inlet Pressure Sensors.
1. Remove the left/right side pressure sensors.
2. Assemble the 228-7100 O-ring on the 216-4596 Elbow. Install the elbows in a manner that ensures the orientation of the sensor is vertical. Reference Image 1.
3. Install the new Turbocharger Inlet Pressure Sensors.
4. Install the new harness on the Turbocharger Inlet Pressure Sensors. Ensure there is a loop of harness at Turbocharger Inlet Pressure Sensor to prevent the connector from being pulled. Strap the harness to the sensor. Reference Image 2.
