The front tire is removed for clarity.
Attach a suitable lifting device to lift cylinder (9). The weight of lift cylinder (9) is approximately 1587 kg (3500 lb).

Disconnect grease hose assembly (10). Remove plugs (11) and bolt (12).

Use Tooling (B) to remove collet (13) from each side of the pin from the rod end of the lift cylinder.

Use Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to remove pin (14). The weight of pin (14) is approximately 127 kg (280 lb).

Position suitable cribbing between lift cylinder (9) and the frame of the machine. Lower lift cylinder (18) onto the suitable cribbing.
Repeat Steps 11 through 15 for the remaining lift cylinder.

Disconnect bracket (15) for the pressure taps. Disconnect grease hose assemblies (16). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

Disconnect harness assembly (17). Remove grommet (18) and pull harness assembly (17) from bracket (19). Remove bracket (19) and position sensor (20). Remove bolt (21).

Attach two suitable lifting devices around each side of the crossmember of lift arm assembly (8). The weight of lift arm assembly (8) is approximately 22,680 kg (50,000 lb).

Remove plugs (22) and bolt (23).

Use Tooling (B) to remove collet (24).

Use Tooling (C) to remove pin (25). The weight of pin (25) is approximately 165 kg (363 lb). Note the location of the shims for installation purposes.
Repeat Steps 20 through 22 for the opposite side.

Remove lift arm assembly (8).

Remove lip seals (26).
Use Tooling (E) to remove sleeve bearing (27) from the lift arm assembly.
Repeat Step 25 and Step 26 for the remaining lip seals and sleeve bearings.
