PREPARING TO REMOVE ENGINE (Direct Drive Machine)
2-Left steering clutch control rod. 3-Flywheel clutch housing vent line. 4-Oil filter. 5-Right steering clutch control rod. 6-Oil filter oil line. 7-Universal joint assembly. 8-Wiring harness junction box. 9-Pin and cotter pin. 10-Oil line, oil pump to transmission housing.
PREPARING TO REMOVE ENGINE (Powershift Machine)
2-Steering clutch control rods (two). 3-Torque converter temperature gauge line. 4-Steering clutch lubricating line (two).

REMOVING THE ENGINEAttach a hoist to lifting eyes and remove the engine. Tag shims at each mounting location for identification at engine installation.Installation
Position the diesel engine between the main frames and work it back and down into position in the frame. Install the same shims under the mounting flanges or the amount of shims as stamped on top of the main frame at each of the four mounting locations. Dowels in addition to the bolts should be installed to hold the engine in the proper location if the holes for the mounting bolts are enlarged.Install all oil and fuel lines, gauges, rods and other parts which were removed or disconnected.
