Removal Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Release the hydraulic system pressure

Remove pin (2) and armrest (1). Gently pry cover (3) upward until cover (3) unsnaps from the console. Cover (3) will lift approximately 25 mm (1.0 inch).

Remove screw (5), screw (6), and screw (7). Remove cover (4).

Remove screws (9) and cover (10). Lift boot (8) the bolts underneath.

Remove bolts (11).

Disconnect five hose assemblies (13) from pilot valve (12).
Disconnect harness assembly (14). Remove pilot valve (12).Installation Procedure
Install pilot valve (12) in the reverse order of removal.
