Remove the cover from the service tool connector port.
Connect Tooling (T2) to service tool connector port (E1).
Remove the access panel in the floor of the cab.

Install one end of Tooling (T4) to port (X1) on the first pump and connect the other end of Tooling (T4) to port (X2) on the first pump.Test Procedure - Mechanical Neutral
Start the engine. Warm the oil to a minimum temperature of 20 °C (68 °F).
Use Cat ET to lock the parking brake. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Transmission Stall Test - Setup".Note: You are not required to perform the transmission stall test.

Mark the initial position of set screw (3).
Loosen locknut (4) on set screw (3).
Turn the set screw clockwise until the drive loop pressure increases by 200 kPa (30 psi). Mark this position.
Turn the set screw back to the original position.
Turn the set screw counterclockwise until the drive loop pressure increases by 200 kPa (30 psi). Mark this position.
Position the set screw at the midpoint between the two positions that were marked in Step 3 and Step 5.
Maintain the position of set screw (3) while you tighten locknut (4).
Stop the engine.
Remove Tooling (T4) from the two ports.
Repeat the above procedure for the second pump.Test Preparation - Hydraulic Neutral
Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location that is away from operating machines and away from personnel.
Place the steering control lever in the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake.
Fully retract the counterweight.
Stop the engine.
Turn the key to the ON position, but do not start the engine.
Verify that the implement lockout switch is in the UNLOCK position.
Move the thumb wheel for the counterweight control to the EXTEND position. The counterweight should move outward to the neutral position.
Move the control levers through the full range of travel several times. This movement will relieve any pressure that may be present in the implement hydraulic system.
Make sure that the pressure in the entire hydraulic system has been released. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "System Pressure Release" for the detailed procedure to release the system pressure.
