1. Put the O-ring seals on sleeve (28). Install the sleeve in the transmission. Put manifold (32) in position on sleeve (28).2. Install the O-ring seals on sleeves (29) and install sleeves (29) in the manifold.3. Install the O-ring seals on sleeve (30) and install the sleeve and adapter (31) in manifold (32) as an assembly. 4. Put plate (27) in position on the manifold. Install bolt (26). Tighten the bolt to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft). 5. Use two people to put valve group (24) in position on the plate. Install bolts (25) that hold the valve group in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft). 6. Install ring (33) on coupling (23). Install coupling (23) in the actuator so that groove (34) is aligned with the dowel on the rotary selector spool. 7. Install three sleeves (22) in the valve group. The longest one goes in position (35), as shown. 8. Install the O-ring seals in switch manifold (19). 9. Install two O-ring seals in manifold (21). Put manifold (21) in position on the transmission and install the four bolts that hold it in place.10. Install the O-ring seal in hose (20) and install hose (20) on manifold (21).11. Install switch manifold (19) onto the transmission housing. Tighten bolts (16) to a torque of 48 4 N m (35 3 lb ft). Install switch assembly (17) with the bolts, bushing and seals that hold it in place. Connect wire harness connector (18).
Typical Example12. Install the gasket and cover (15).13. Connect wire harness connector (14) to the switch manifold. 14. Put valve (10) and cover (11) in position and install the bolts. Tighten larger bolts (12) to a torque of 48 4 N m (35 3 lb ft). Tighten smaller bolts (13) to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft). 15. Install two O-ring seals in manifold (8). Put manifold (8) in position on the transmission and install four bolts (7) that hold it in place.16. Install the O-ring seals in hoses (5) and (6) and install hoses on manifold (8).17. Put the gasket and cover (4) in position. Install bolts and clips (9) where applicable. 18. Install dipstick bracket (3) and the bolt that holds it to the transmission.19. Connect the two electrical connectors to pressure switches (2).20. Connect the two electrical connectors to the solenoid valves (1).21. Test and adjust the transmission hydraulic controls. Refer to Systems Operation Testing & Adjusting, for the machine that is being serviced.
