Loosen the track. When you tighten the tension of the track, refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Track - Adjust" in the Service Manual for your machine.

Use Tooling (C) to raise the rear of the machine. Raise the machine so the roller frame will clear the track. Install Tooling (B).

Position Tooling (A) as shown. Use Tooling (A) to raise the front of the machine. Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1303, "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information.

Use a suitable lifting device to position Tooling (D) under track roller (3) that is being removed.Note: The weight of a single flange roller is approximately 65 kg (143 lb). The weight of a double flange roller is approximately 70 kg (154 lb).
Remove bolts (2) from caps (1) that fasten track roller (3) to the track roller frame. Remove the track roller from the track roller frame.Note: Refer to Undercarriage Reconditioning Guide for the correct procedure to disassemble the track roller and for the correct procedure to assemble the track roller.
