(6) Fuel pressure control valve (7) Adjusting screwFuel pressure control valve (6) is located on the right side of the front housing. The fuel pressure control valve regulates the pressure in the fuel manifolds.Use the adjusting screw (7) to regulate the pressure in the fuel manifolds to 450 kPa (65 psi) at 350 rpm and 700 kPa (100 psi) at 1050 rpm.

Left front side of the engine (8) Pressure tap (9) Fuel transfer pumpTo check the fuel manifold pressure, connect the 1U-5470 Engine Pressure Group to pressure tap (8) and operate the engine at rated speed.The fuel filter differential pressure is the difference in pressure between the inlet and the outlet of the fuel filters. Measure the fuel filter differential pressure at the inlet and the outlet of the fuel filter housing. The maximum allowable fuel filter differential pressure is 70 kPa (10 psi). If this pressure is reached, replace the fuel filters.
