A 1U-7262 Telescoping Magnet 1 Note: If you install the old valve lifters the valve lifters must be installed in the original locations.
Check the diameter of the valve lifters. The maximum permissible clearance between the valve lifter and the bore for the valve lifter is 0.30 mm (.012 inch).
Apply clean engine oil to the valve lifters and to the lobes of the camshaft.

Use Tooling (A) in order to install valve lifters (1), as shown. End By:
Install the rocker shaft and pushrods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rocker Shaft and Push Rods - Install" for the engine that is being serviced.
