Working with Menus and Dialogs
Before work can begin, the configuration and setup information must be entered into the system. View the current state of the system. Changes are made by working with screens called menus and dialogs. Menus allow the selection of a dialog. Dialogs allow the user to specify setup and configuration information or to view information about the state of system components. The Cat Grade and Slope System can support one or two displays on pavers. The Cat Grade and Slope System can support up to four displays on cold planers. Each display can control one or both sides. Both displays on the pavers can be used to configure the system settings. The two bottom displays on the cold planers can be used to configure the system settings. If the display controls both sides of the machine, for single display operation, an additional menu may be displayed. The additional menu is used to determine which side of the machine the settings should be applied.
