When reporting the repair, use "PS8355" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Attach.(1-Rework Procedure)Rework Procedure
1. Remove the existing 1010352 and 1010353 Handrail Assemblies.2. Inspect the step assembly for cracks near the handrail mounting locations. Repair any cracks as necessary.3. Use the existing holes and the templates in Illustrations 3 and 4 as a basis to drill the new holes in the locations shown in Illustration 1. Make sure to deburr the 22.5 mm holes.4. Install and weld in weld studs (Item 1) into the 10 mm holes as shown in Illustration 1.5. Install the new handrails using bolts, washers, nuts and mount (Items 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) as shown in Illustration 2. Make sure the mount (Item 5) is slid in all the way to the shoulder before tightening the bolts. Make sure the mount is installed from the outside of the step assembly.
6. Install washers and locknuts (Items 3 and 7) on studs (Item 1) as shown in Illustration 2. Do not tighten the locknut down against the handrail assemblies (Items 8 and 9). Instead, tighten until the gap between washer and handrail is 0.5 +0.0/-0.25 mm as shown in Illustration 2.
