In the event this code is active, complete the CAN Data Link troubleshooting process. The following is a list of codes are associated with the indicator lamp connected to the Switch Panel.
Table 1
Machine ECM (MID 299)
DTC    Code Description    System Response
2695-3     Caution Lamp for Crane : Voltage Above Normal     Indicator lamp will be on continuously.
2695-6     Caution Lamp for Crane : Current Above Normal     Indicator lamp will be on continuously.
Possible Causes for an FMI 3 Diagnostic code are:
The energize circuit of the indicator lamp is shorted to +battery.
The indicator lamp has failed.

Schematic of the indicator lamp circuitNote: The diagram above is a simplified schematic of the Switch Panel and the Indicator Lamp connections. The schematic is electrically correct. However, not all of the possible harness connectors are shown. Refer to the latest revision of Electrical Schematic, UENR5805 for the complete schematic.Diagnostic Trouble Code Procedure
Note: Prior to beginning this procedure, inspect the harness connectors that are involved in the circuit. Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean, secure and in good condition. If a problem with a connection is found, correct the problem and verify that this diagnostic code is active before performing this procedure.
