When the machine key switch is in the ON position, power is available to the switched fuses in fuse and relay module (1). Power is also available to fuses through the delayed switch power (DSP) relay on the main power relay module. Fuses powered through the DSP relay are identified as "D" fuses.Switched power transfers from fuse "D8" (4) to terminal "12" of tractor display (3). The power also transfers to terminal "1" of left screed keypad (10) and right screed keypad (11). The voltage input from fuse "D8" provides main power to these components. Fuse "D8" is rated at 10 amp.Switched power transfers from fuse "D5" (5) to terminal "12" of optional screed display (12). The voltage signal from fuse "D5" provides main power to the display. Fuse "D5" is rated at 5 amp.Switched power transfers from fuse "F11" (6) to terminal "11" of tractor display (3) and optional screed display (15). The power also transfers to terminal "2" of left screed keypad (10) and right screed keypad (11). The voltage signal from fuse "F11" provides a wakeup signal to these components. Fuse "F11" is rated at 10 amp.Switched power transfers from fuse "D6" (7) to terminals "J1-31", "J1-39", and "J1-47" of auxiliary ECM (9). This voltage input provides power for the ECM. The auxiliary ECM is grounded through terminals "J1-13", "J1-23", and "J1-57". Fuse "D6" is rated at 15 amp.Vibratory Control Parameters
The vibratory system requires several parameters to be set to operate. The following parameters are adjusted and set by the operator.
The "Desired vibratory speed" parameter is adjusted at left screed keypad (10) or right screed keypad (11). The desired vibratory speed value is stored in auxiliary ECM (9). The desired vibratory speed setting is shown on tractor display (3) and optional screed display (12) (when installed). The rotary dials on the keypads adjust the vibratory speed setting. The desired vibratory speed range is limited between 700 rpm minimum and 1800 rpm maximum. The default value is zero rpm. The set value is saved over a machine key cycle.
The "Enable delay time" parameter defers vibration when machine movement begins. The vibratory system enable delay time value is stored in auxiliary ECM (9). The delay time value is adjusted on tractor display (3) or optional screed display (12). The default enable delay time is 0.5 second. The maximum time setting is 60 seconds.
The "Vibratory switch position" parameter is used to set the status of the vibratory system on or off. The vibratory switch is on tractor display (3) or screed display (12). The vibratory switch default setting is off.
The "Forward pave mode" parameter is met when the engine is running and the machine is ready to pave in the
