1. Check for smooth rotation of input shaft Inspection procedure (1) Place reducer sideway.(2) Insert a dummy shaft in coupling and rotate spindle end. * Weld the bolt head to the end surface of the shaft and rotate it with a torque wrench. CriteriaThe shaft must rotate smoothly without hitching. SAE spline No. of tooth: 13 Standard pitch radius: 41.2758/6 Diametral pitch: 2. Check for oil leakage from mating surface or casing Inspection procedure (1) Attach dummy cover on spindle motor mount.(2) Apply soapy water on all mating surfaces and sealing sections.(3) Apply 1 kgf/cm2 air pressure from side cover drain port. CriteriaNo air leakage present.
