(16) Moldboard doorVertically adjustable moldboard door (16) is mounted on the rear of the rotor chamber. Moldboard cylinder (13) is mounted to the rear of the moldboard door.Moldboard door (16) is the rear enclosure of the rotor chamber. The moldboard on the bottom edge of this door scrapes the milled surface to minimize the amount of material left behind.Moldboard cylinder (13) hydraulically adjusts the height of moldboard door (16).Moldboard door (16) can be raised fully to provide access to the rotor chamber for service. Latch (14) will automatically engage lug (15) and prevent the door from lowering. The latch must be manually disengaged to lower the moldboard door.Moldboard cylinder (13) is equipped with a height sensor (not shown on illustration). (17) Conveyor swing cylinderConveyor swing cylinder (17) is at the front of the machine, on the left side of the secondary conveyor.Conveyor swing cylinder (17) hydraulically adjusts the horizontal positioning of the conveyor. Oil flow for the swing cylinder is controlled by solenoid valves in the front auxiliary manifold. Counterbalance valves in the front manifold ensure that the conveyor will not swing unless one end of the conveyor swing cylinder is pressurized.

(18) Conveyor lift cylinders
(19) Lift cylinder valveConveyor lift cylinders (18) are at the front of the machine, above the second-stage conveyor. The conveyor lift cylinders are mounted at the top of the conveyor frame.Conveyor lift cylinders (18) hydraulically adjust the vertical positioning of the conveyor. During normal operation, the conveyor lift cylinders act in unison.Oil flow for conveyor lift cylinders (18) is controlled by solenoid valves on the front auxiliary manifold. Lift cylinder valve (19) on each cylinder has a counterbalance valve installed. The counterbalance valves ensure that the conveyor will not lower until rod end pressure increases to open the valve. Each valve maintains rod end pressure at 24000 kPa (3480 psi) as the respective cylinder extends.

(20) Conveyor fold cylinder
(21) Fold cylinder valveTwo conveyor fold cylinders (20) are on each side of the conveyor frame. The conveyor fold cylinders are mounted to the lower section of the second-stage conveyor.Conveyor fold cylinders (20) hydraulically fold and unfold the second-stage conveyor. When these cylinders extend, the second-stage conveyor folds. When these cylinders retract, the second-stage conveyor unfolds. During normal operation, the conveyor fold cylinders act in unison.Oil flow for conveyor fold cylinders (20) is controlled by solenoid valves on the front auxiliary manifold. Fold cylinder valve (21) on each cylinder has two counterbalance valves installed. The counterbalance valves ensure that the conveyor will not fold or unfold until the cylinder return circuit pressure increases to open the corresponding valve. Each valve maintains cylinder return pressure at 24000 kPa (3480 psi) as the respective cylinder extends or retracts.Track Tension Cylinders
