A new access step needs to be installed on certain 330D hydraulic excavators equipped with wide (850mm) shoes. Some operators have reported difficulty reaching the existing step when exiting the cab, which may cause a slip, fall, or overextension of the leg or foot, creating the potential for personal injury or death. This new step addresses these issues.

ACTION REQUIRED
Install a 235-7765 Step on the original welded step. Use 8T-7338 Bolts and 9X-8257 Washers in order to mount the steps. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 240 +/- 40 Nm. Refer to the Image attached below.
