Use Tooling (C) and a suitable press in order to remove race (44) and bearing cone (45) from shaft (43) .

Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press in order to apply slight compression to barrel assembly (37) . Use Tooling (E) in order to remove retaining ring (48) from barrel assembly (37) .Note: Note the orientation of the white mark on retaining ring (48) for assembly purposes.
Remove shims (53) , washer (52) , spring (51) , and washer (50) from barrel (49) .

Remove screws (63) , plate (58) , plate (62) , shims (57) , shims (61) , sleeves (55) , and sleeves (60) from swashplate assembly (42) . Remove washer (56) and pistons (59) from swashplate (54) .Note: Note the orientation of washer (56) for assembly purposes.
