1. Raise the hood and locate the relay panel in the left side of the sound wall. Remove the (4) 8T4196 Bolts and 8T4121 Washers securing the panel. Disconnect the electrical plugs connecting the relay panel to the main vehicle harness. Remove the relay panel.2. Locate the 3E5239 Relays on the bottom right corner of the relay panel. See Illustration 1. Disconnect the 3E5519 Plugs from the 3E5239 Relays. Remove the 3E5239 Relays by removing the 5C9553 Bolts and 8T4205 Washers (keep the bolts and washers for later use).3. Locate the 3E5519 Plug (plugs that were disconnected from 3E5239 relay) on the main harness with the 397-OR and A300-GN circuits. Cut through all 5 of the wires exiting the 3E5519 Plug. Cut wires at the base of the plug.4. Locate the 175-RD, 397-OR and 200-BK (12GA) wires. Strip the leads and crimp a 8N1541 Socket onto each of these wires. Insert each of the sockets into a 1297163 Plug (1 pin DT).5. Locate the A300-GN and 200-BK (16GA) wires. Strip the leads and crimp a 8T8729 Pin onto each of these wires. Insert the A300-GN wire into pin 1 of a 3E3364 Receptacle (2 pin DT). Insert the 2OO - BK (16GA) wire into pin 2 of the same 3E3364 Receptacle (2 pin DT). Insert a 3E3365 Wedge into the 3E3364 Receptacle after both wires have been assembled.6. Connect the 175-RD, 397-OR, 200-BK (12GA), A300-GN and 200-BK (16GA) connectors to the appropriate connector on the branch of the 1497792 Harness (Illustration 3) containing the 397-OR and A300-GN wires. The wire color and number should be consistent across the connector and all connections made should be on the same branch of the 1497792 Harness.7. Locate the remaining 3E5519 Plug on the main harness with the 398-BU and A301-WH circuits. Cut through all 5 of the wires exiting the 3E5519 Plug. Cut wires at the base of the plug.8. Locate the 175-RD, 398-BU and 200-BK (12GA) wires. Strip the leads and crimp an 8N1541 Socket onto each of these wires. Insert each of the sockets into a 1297163 Plug (1 Pin DT).9. Locate the A301-WH and 200-BK (16GA) wires. Strip the leads and crimp a 8T8729 Pin onto each of these wires. Insert the A301-WH wire into pin 1 of a 3E3364 Receptacle (2 pin DT). Insert the 200-BK (I 6GA) wire into pin 2 of the same 3E3364 Receptacle (2 pin DT). Insert a 3E3365 Wedge into the 3E3364 receptacle after both wires have been assembled.10. Connect the 175-RD, 398-BU, 200-BK (12GA), A301-WH and 200-BK (16GA) connectors to the appropriate connector on the opposite branch of the 1497792 Harness. This branch should contain the 398-BU and A301-WH wires. The wire color and number should be consistent across the connector. The only open connector on the 1497792 Harness should be a 3E3379 Plug (6
