This instruction provides the necessary information in order to install the Reversing Fan Kit. The information in this instruction should be read and understood before you proceed with any modifications.Note: The 192-7494 Hydraulic Fan Conversion Gp is a nonserviceable reversing fan kit.The Hydraulic Fan Conversion Gp (Reversing Fan Kit) is designed for machines in an area with high debris in the air. The fan removes debris from the radiator and the air inlet screens on the engine doors.A new fan motor is included in the kit. The new fan motor has a directional valve which allows the motor to run in the reverse direction. The directional valve is controlled by an electrical solenoid. The electric solenoid is controlled by a rocker switch in the cab. The fan will rotate counterclockwise when the switch is off and act as a suction fan. The fan will rotate clockwise when the switch is on and act as a blower fan.The switch activates a time delay relay which limits the clockwise direction to 10 seconds. After a ten second period of reverse flow the fan will resume to the normal direction.Note: Tampering with the system or altering the system may result in machine damage. Use a 175-0394 Air Screen with the reversing fan kit for full function. The screens replace the existing air inlet screens on the side of each engine door. The reversing fan kit can reduce cleaning downtime.Note: The 175-0394 Air Screen can be ordered from the factory for field installation.Note: The 175-0394 Air Screen is a nonserviceable group.The Special Instruction is available through the normal literature distribution system.
