Bowl or apron movement can cause serious injury or death.To prevent movement, block the bowl and apron when performing maintenance in the bowl area.
Blocking the Bowl
Park the machine on level ground.
Engage the parking brake.

Raise the bowl. Place a block under the bowl. Blocks should be of material that is suitable for carrying the weight of the bowl.
Lower the bowl to the block. Block the bowl only to a height so that the bowl can be worked on.
Move the joystick control to the HOLD position.
Stop the engine. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Blocking the Apron
Note: Any material that might fall on the worker should be removed from the apron.
Park the machine on level ground.
Engage the parking brake.

Typical example
Raise the apron. The pin is located on the top left side of the bowl.
Remove the retaining bolt.
Remove the pin from the storage area.
Install the pin into the block on the top of the bowl. The spacer on the pin should face toward the inside of the bowl.
Install the retaining bolt back into the original position.
Lower the apron onto the pin.
Move the joystick control to the HOLD position.
Stop the engine. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
