Introduction
The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified.Problem
The hydraulic tube mounting bracket bolts may fail on the machines listed above. The bolts that secure the tilt cylinder hydraulic tubes with the support brackets on top of the engine may break.Solution
Caterpillar is aware of this problem and an interim corrective solution has been defined. Follow the below procedure until a permanent solution is defined.Rework Procedure

Remove clip (A) and bracket mounting bolts (B), as shown in Illustration 1.

(C) Dimension is 30 mm (1.2 inch)
Grind the mounting holes to 30 mm (1.2 inch), as shown in Illustration 2 and Illustration 3.

Before torquing the hardware fully, first install loosely to ensure that there is no binding, as shown in Illustration 4.
Repeat the above set of instructions for the left-hand side.
