Use the following procedure in order to adjust either conveyor belt. Check the operation and tracking after each adjustment with the belts under load.If the belt is tracking to the left, lengthen the left tensioner. If the belt is tracking to the right, lengthen the right tensioner.
Loosen jam nut (1) on tensioner (3) .
Rotate adjuster (2) clockwise.Note: Use half turns in order to adjust the tensioner.
Adjust the tensioner until the belt is centered on the drive pulley.
Tighten jam nut (1) .
Check the tension of the belt. The sag should not exceed 50 mm (1.97 inch) from the bottom of the conveyor frame. If necessary, adjust both tensioners in order to remove the sag from the belt.
