Position a suitable lift truck under the fuel tank. Position the fuel tank to the engine end frame. The weight of the fuel tank is 5659 kg (12476 lb).

Install 12 bolts (6) that secure the fuel tank to the engine end frame.

Install two bolts (5) and the washers that secure the rear fender to the fuel tank. Repeat the procedure for the remaining side.

Remove Tool (A) from the rear fender. Repeat the procedure for the remaining side.

Connect two hose assemblies (3) and (4) to the fuel tank. Connect wire (2) to the fuel tank at the electrical connection.

Install three plugs (1) and the O-ring seal to the fuel tank.
Refill the fuel tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" for the proper amount of fuel.End By:
Separate the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link - Separate and Connect".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chocks (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
