(5) The throttle lock solenoid on the 627F scraper is located on the left side on the hood support.Note: The throttle lock is standard on the 627F. The throttle lock is an attachment on the following models: 621F and 623F .Note: The air pressure must be above 520 kPa (75 psi) before the throttle lock will operate.The throttle lock solenoid is electric over air. The electric switch (4) is located on the right side of the operator station. The following components are located under the cab: throttle lock control (1), throttle lock solenoid (3) and brake pressure sensor (2) . The throttle lock solenoid on the 627F scraper is located on the left side on the hood support.When the throttle lock switch is pushed to the ON position, the throttle lock control sends a signal in order to close the throttle lock solenoid(s). Air pressure is held between the throttle lock solenoid and the governor control cylinder. The governor control cylinder is now held at the current setting of the governor pedal(s) until the throttle lock is deactivated.When the throttle lock switch is pushed to the OFF position, the throttle lock control is deactivated and the throttle lock solenoid opens. This allows airflow from the governor control valve to the governor control cylinder. The throttle lock can also be deactivated by pressing the brake pedal. When the brake valve delivers approximately 70 kPa (10 psi) of air pressure, the brake pressure sensor will deactivate the throttle lock control. This opens the throttle lock solenoid. The governor control cylinder is now controlled by the governor control valve.
