26. Align gear (38) with the gears in the carrier, and install gear (38), carrier assembly (30) and shaft (32) as an assembly. The first plate of plates (43) must be installed with the small diameter hole in the large tabs in alignment with the holes for rods (40) in housing (4). The remaining plates must be installed with the large diameter hole in the small tabs aligned with the large diameter hole in the large tabs of the first plate.27. Start with a plate, and install five plates (43) and five discs (41). Alternate the plates and discs.28. Put rods (40) and springs (42) in position in housing (42) as shown. 29. Put plate (44) in position on housing (4) as shown. The bottom four plate of plates (46) must be aligned with the top four plates of plates (43). The top plate (46) must be aligned with the bottom plate of plates (43).30. Start with a disc, and install five discs (45) and five plates (46). Alternate the discs and plates. 31. Install rings (47) and (49) on pistons (48). Install the rings with the lip of the rings as shown. Put clean oil on the rings. 32. Install pistons (48) in each side of housing assembly (50).33. Put housing assembly (50) in position on plate (44). 34. Install bearing (54) in gear (55).35. Put gear (55) and discs (51) and (52) in position in carrier (57), and install shaft (53). Make sure the rubber in pins (56) is not damaged. If the rubber in the pins is damaged, replace the pins.36. Align the hole in shaft (53) with the hole in the carrier, and install pin (56). Install the pin until it is even with the surface of the carrier. 37. Install the ring that holds carrier (57) and gear (58) together in the groove of the carrier.38. Compress the ring, and install carrier (57) in gear (58). Make sure the ring goes into the groove in the gear.39. Install bearing (59) in carrier (57) with the notch in the inner race of the bearing facing up as shown. 40. Use tool (C), and install bearings (61) and (62) in shaft assembly (60). Install bearing (61) 3.0 0.5 mm (.12 .02 in) below the end of the shaft.The inside diameter of bearing (61) must be 31.713 0.039 mm (1.2485 .0015 in) after installation. Install bearing (62) 4.0 0.5 mm (.15 .02 in) below the end of the shaft. The inside diameter of the bearing must be 35.629 0.039 mm (1.4027 .0015 in) after installation. 41. Align the dowel in shaft (60) with the notch in bearing (59), and install the shaft in the bearing.42. Put plate (63) in position in the gear, and install pin (64). 43. Put gear (66) in position on shaft assembly (60). Install snap ring (65) with tool (D). 44. Install gear (67) over shaft assembly (60). 45. Put hub (69) in position
