Black powder was mixed in with the fuel and created engine performance issues. This caused wear to the float for the fuel level sensor since the float was interfering with the strainer. A longer strainer had been incorrectly installed on the machine.Solution
Replace the longer strainer with the correct strainer and replace the damaged fuel level sensor to the current fuel level sensor. Refer to Table 1 for the correct parts.
