This recommendation supersedes the recommended intervals shown in the listed Operation and Maintenance Manuals, providing the following conditions are met:
* Genuine CAT oil filters must be used.* Multigrade CAT DEO/CG4 specification oil (or equivalent) must be used. (Refer to the above Operation and Maintenance Manuals for a list of recommended oils.)* Working conditions must be clean and applications light. (Take S O S at first 250 hours to ensure engine is not in a heavy-duty application). * Fuel contains 0.05-0.5% sulphur content. Higher percentages of fuel sulphur content will reduce the oil and filter change intervals as follows:0.5 - 1.0% 250 hours1.0 - 1.5% 125 hoursUse 7W-2326 engine oil filter.
