PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Group Number 1
1. Turn off the disconnect switch.
2. Remove the top plate. Refer to Image1.2.1.
3. Remove the hose clamp. The top plate must be removed in order to remove the hose clamp. Refer to Image1.2.2.

4. Remove the connector of the harness.
5. Remove mounting bolt (1) for the air cleaner. Refer to Image1.3.1.
Note: The air cleaner mounting bolt can be accessed from the bottom side.
6. Remove the old pressure switch.

7. Install the 4J-7533 O-ring so that the switch screw bottom may be contacted completely. Refer to Image1.4.1.

8. Install a new 276-4836 Pressure Switch.
a. Fasten tight until the 276-4836 Pressure Switch contacts the shim.
Note: Ensure that the shim does not rotate at all. Remove the air cleaner assembly when the rotation of the shim cannot be checked. Refer to Image1.5.1.
b. Turn the 276-4836 Pressure Switch an extra 1/4 turn by hand.

9. Reassemble the air cleaner.
Note: Tighten the hose clamp to a specified torque of 6.5 N.m (57.5 lb in).
10. Attach the connector of the harness until an engaging sound is made.
Note: Do not attach the connector while pushing the bar of the connector. The engaging sound may not be confirmed. Refer to Image1.6.1.

1. Turn off the disconnect switch.
2. Remove the connector of the harness.
3. Remove the old pressure switch.
4. Install the 4J-7533 O-ring so that the switch screw bottom may be contacted completely. Refer to Image2.4.1.

5. Install a new 276-4836 Pressure Switch.
a. Fasten tight until the 276-4836 Pressure Switch contacts the shim.
Note: Ensure that the shim does not rotate at all. Remove the air cleaner assembly when the rotation of the shim cannot be checked. Refer to Image2.5.1.
b. Turn the 276-4836 Pressure Switch an extra 1/4 turn by hand.
