This test should be performed with the propulsion engine NOT running to prevent unexpected vessel movement during the test.
Station Active and LED
Turn Keyswitch to the ON position for both engines. DO NOT start the engines.
Place both handles in the IDLE/NEUTRAL position.
Perform the Lamp Test.
When the station is not active, press and hold the "SVM", "SYNC", and "N" (gear lockout) buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds. This will cause the lamps to flash at a rate of 1Hz (0.5 second ON, 0.5 second OFF). Pressing any button will cause the lamp test to stop, and all lamps to turn OFF.
Connect a computer with Cat ET to the J1939 service connector.

Start Cat ET and connect to the Power Train Control.

Select the Status Icon

While monitoring the value for Station Active Button Status in Cat ET, Press and hold the "STATION ACTIVE"
