Attach a 160 mm (6.30 inch) piece of 5P-7210 Seal (38) to each edge of 248-6939 Cover Assembly (20). Attach a 380 mm (14.96 inch) piece of 120-5281 Seal (39) to the center of 248-6939 Cover Assembly (20). Point the seal end toward the aftercooler.
Use six 5S-7382 Bolts (30) and six 5P-1075 Hard Washers (27) to install 248-6938 Cover Assembly (19) at the rear of the box assembly.

Install one 248-6932 Tube Assembly (13) on the left 248-6934 Box (15). Use four 4L-6454 Bolts (26), four 5P-1075 Hard Washers (27) and four 6V-8801 Nuts (32) in order to attach the pipe assembly to the box assembly.
Install one 248-6932 Tube Assembly (13) on the left side of 248-6935 Box (16). Use four 4L-6454 Bolts (26) and four 5P-1075 Hard Washers (27) in order to attach the pipe assembly to the box assembly.
Install one 248-6933 Tube Assembly (14) on the right 248-6934 Box (15). Use four 4L-6454 Bolts (26), four 5P-1075 Hard Washers (27) and four 6V-8801 Nuts (32) in order to attach the pipe assembly to the box assembly.
Install one 248-6933 Tube Assembly (14) on the right side of 248-6935 Box (16). Use four 4L-6454 Bolts (26) and four 5P-1075 Hard Washers (27) in order to attach the pipe assembly to the box assembly.

Install one 248-6931 Precleaner Assembly (12) on each of the four pipe assemblies. Tighten the clamp to 30 4 N m (22.0 3.00 lb ft).Note: Rotate the opening on each precleaner assembly to the forward position.
Use a 5P-0597 Hose Clamp (4) in order to attach each hose to the pipe assembly.

Use a 2M-5795 Clevis Pin (25), and a 5V-1496 Retainer (6) in order to attach each 9M-3835 Rubber Latch (7) to the box assembly.
Attach a 118 mm (4.646 inch) piece of 249-0409 Seal (40A) to each vertical. Use a 230 mm (9.055 inch) piece of 249-0409 Seal (40B) for each horizontal portion. Repeat the step for the other side.
Attach a 180 mm (7.089 inch) piece of 249-0409 Seal (40C) to each vertical side. Use a 452 mm (17.80 inch) piece of 249-0409 Seal (40D) for each horizontal portion. Repeat the step for the other side.

Attach four pieces of 145-5664 Seal (41) to the perimeter of each 248-6942 Screen Assembly (23). Miter fit the seals to the corners of the screens.

Install two 248-6942 Screen Assembly (23) in each 248-6941 Box (22). Place the seal in contact with the channel.
Repeat step 41 and step 42 for the other box assembly.
Install each box assembly. Secure each box assembly with the latches. Note: The installation of the turbine precleaners will not replace daily checking and cleaning of the air intake system. The screens and filters should be checked and cleaned as necessary on a daily
