Dash panel (3) Caterpillar Monitoring System (4) Torque converter oil temperature alert indicatorWith the battery disconnect switch in the ON position, 24 V power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker #4 to Engine ECM (2) With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 V power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker #11 to the Caterpillar Monitoring System (4) and via circuit breaker #12 to Engine ECM (2). Engine ECM (2) supplies 8 V power to torque converter oil temperature sensor (1) .Torque converter oil temperature sensor (1) sends a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal to Engine ECM (2). Engine ECM (2) sends a signal to Caterpillar Monitoring System (3) via the CAT Data Link. Torque converter oil temperature alert indicator (4) will be on when the torque converter oil temperature is out of range.
